Andrew Cote

Andrew served as Mechanical Design Lead for the robot, and was responsible for all the layout, design in SolidWorks, and CNC production methods behind the fighting-squid. Andrew has a variety of interests that can be read about at his website.

Curtis Huebner

Curtis is a student at UBC with a strong interest in AI and machine learning. He has a big interest in machine learning, and has applied machine learning techniques to create language models and predict financial time series. Curtis was Electrical and Low-Level Software lead for the robot.

Cheng Xie

Cheng served as High-Level Strategy and Software lead for the robot and has previoulsy programmed autonomous robots for the UBC ThunderBots team. Cheng enjoys learning about machine learning, programming projects, and graduated highschool at the age of fourteen.

Tim Branch

Tim Branch served as electrical design lead, and helped bridge the gap between the electrical and mechanical aspects of the robot. He has built his own 3D-Printer (a Prusa i3), and serves on the executive of UBC Rapid, a rapid prototyping student team. He also has a passion for experimental physics.
